Future of robotics
Future of robotics
It would be better robots Overload not to see it. It seems actually that the uprising of robots do occur not due to a computer virus.

Yes, nature is cruel, human is no exception. Human dominated world is not a better place. Cruel s/w concept may emerge.

Not a better place sudanamaru? Not better than...?
I mean it probably is better than a world dominated by, say, voracious giant sea serpents that kill and kill until nothing else is left and then they start cannibalizing themselves and each other.

Humans are doing the same effectively. Look at the figures of extinction of species by human factors. As a intelligent race we have option but we prefer to behave like the voracious giant sea serpents and think everything is consumable. Not a better place sudanamaru? Not better than...?

It's weird to feel bad about that because robots are just things, which have no feeling or reaction toward the cruel action of humanity. However, I feel the same as you do.Spidey wrote:Did the bad man kick the robot…awww…poor thing.

Re: Future of robotics
Yes, we ready to accept robots have emotion and react. So designers can incorporate them without much of opposition. In turn emotion is in principle a feedback mechanism. If it is negative it may follow a counter measure which is a problem solving method.Did the bad man kick the robot…awww…poor thing.
