Descent 1/2 3D Models

Post by 386DX »

Anyone have a copy of thinman's 3d models found here that they wouldn't mind sending me? http://www.descent2.com/goodies/3dmodels/

3dsgen won't convert the .pol files from Descent 1 and a good number from Descent 2 into .oof files. Thanks!

In the DXF folder click on the executable file and it will create a .dxf at the bottom of the folder. I couldn't open them in Windows 7 but I scrounged up a tower with Windows XP and it worked. Downloading Blender and selecting the .dxf addon allows you to import the 3d files for viewing.

Bummer, couldn't get them to work. I'll have to look into this again later.
