How do I make sure DosBOX has access to the highest possible amount of memory when playing Descent, so the chance of the game freezing up and/or needing to be restarted is minimized?

Also, is there a way to reduce how much the ship bounces up and down (especially when idle)? Not serious, but if it can be controlled I'd like to know.

Lastly is there a way to make it so flash missiles don't totally blind me 100%? Like 90% blinding instead for instance.

1. Replace certain 16 with 64 in DOSBOX.CONF. Though it doesn't practically help, since Desc' may be a 'resource demanding game' and no game requires more than 16 MB anyway.

2. Set graphical details to highest?
