Dancing

Post by woodchip »

I came of age in the 60's and used to be able feel the music and danced quite well. Now at 75 I still can feel the music but can't dance like I used to. So I'm wondering what music today makes you want to dance like the Rolling Stones " Can't Get no " Satisfaction or The Spencer Davis Group " Gimme Some Loving " ?

One that jumps to my mind is an obscure Boston tune called "I had a good time".

All though, thats not exactly new :-P

For something a little newer, I like Bishop Briggs Champion

I still remember some of the moves from "Freak Nasty - Da Dip". That one was popular at the 1996 prom.

I don't think I was ever supposed to dance.

Right now, I'd herniate a back disk doing any dancing. I've already herniated the same disk 3 times this summer just by bending over and have to keep working and exercising to get it back into place or it hurts.
