Buy my junk! (now with 25% more junk!)

Post by Vindicator »

I really want a set of duallies (see the Folding thread here for details), so I'm selling a buncha junk thats cluttering my room. Help finance my addiction! :P (note: items with shipping incl. in the price is to the lower 48. Canada/elsewhere is extra. Unless noted, you are buying just the item, no driver disks or manuals.)

-Sony 8x4x32x CD burner. Came with my Dell a long time ago, still works great. Pic of top of drive. Standard beige color. $20 shipped.

-(2) CD-ROM drives. One's a beige Lite-On 52x (model # LTN-526D), the other is a grey Goldstar 48x (model # CRD-8482B). They dont burn CD's or play DVDs, just your basic CD drives. $13 each, shipped. Pic of both drives.

-Vantec Aeroflow VA4-C7040 HSF for Socket A/370. I modified it a bit. I took the fan off and put rubber washers between the HS and the fan, and between the fan and the mounting screws. This was done to make it a little bit quieter. It cools really well regardless, so if you're lookin for a good, inexpensive heatsink this will fit the bill pretty well. The three-pronged clip makes it pretty easy to install. Its a TMD fan too! $20 shipped. Here's a side pic showing the placement of the washers. Top view, bottom view.

Added 9-8-04:

-SoundBlaster Live! 5.1 digital. $20 shipped. Pic. No driver disc, but you can download new drivers from creative.com.

I take Paypal or money order. I'll be adding to this list as I dig around for more stuff to sell. :D

Added my Swiftech MCX462 heatsink, a K7S5A, and a SB Live to the list.

Still interested in the CD drive Ace? Or anything else you might need that I could scrounge around for?

I have a K62 400, come to think of it. I also have an Asus P5A mobo but I'd have to play with it a bit to make sure it works right before i sell it off. (i got it a few months ago, never did anything with it)

lol, rookie. K6, K62, K6+, K7, K8.. all AMDs. And the P5A was the best ever ATX board that worked with the K6/K62s.

That sucks. I've been too busy to test the P5A anyways, sry.

Update: Added my XP1700 and NF7-S. I'd much rather see these go to good homes on the DBB than to a random eBay dork :)

I'd be interested in that 1700+ and the NF7-S.. will be a while(couple months) b4 I could buy them, but if you could hold them for me, I would definately. NF7-S is what I'm running on now, great board.

Actually I just put em on eBay a few days ago. :( But if for some reason they become available again I'll let you know.

Or you could always bid on em... :P
