Many years ago I got the World Record Paper Airplane book as a gift. Really neat stuff. I might even still have it.

71 ft was the best I could get so far. That was with straight flight.

Edit: 85 ft with loop.

I have invented a completely new and different paper airplane over 10 years ago. Let me tell you, it takes alot of research and development to make one that really flies, and not only that, doesn't require cutting, pasting, taping, paper clipping, or anything except pure folding of a square of paper.

I remember playing something similar to this on an Apple IIE in grade school. Aah, memories...:P

Edit: About 84, with a loop behind the guy's head :).

Two loops... 94.16 feet distance... 19 feet max altitude, baby.

Edit: The max distance I achieved was 101.27 feet. Subsequent test flights, I had the plane looping, then it stopped, then it looped the opposite way... and finally mysteriously landed around 93 feet away. ?! Hmm.

Still, interesting.
