Badminton!

I'm on the Badminton team at my school.
It's an extremely fast sport, when played competively. Someone on the team last year got a pretty nasty bruise where the cork tipped birdy was smashed into his arm. A cork tipped birdy. As you can imagine it was going pretty darn fast.

So, has anyone here ever played?

Not competitively, only with friends, and even then I'm not any good.

I'll admit it was pretty fun, it is also a most excellent sport to play in a team of girls for other reasons than sport

When I was younger we had a badminton net in my back yard. I was never very good so we just played to see who could spike the the farthest/highest.

It is an extremely fun sport and even better played in teams!

Oh dreaded -BRUISE- on your ARM from a badminton shuttle! Simply dreadful!

Love it, got my ass whooped when I was 18 when my friend and I played his dad(military dude). Us 2 vs him and he won. He was like 40+ at the time.
