You can't go wrong with a Miku Hatsune wallpaper. I've been using a winamp skin with her for a while now.

Actually I wanted to go hide in the nerd corner of shame for using a Vocaloid wallpaper. I picked them both by just randomly scrolling through my wallpaper folder thumbnails and clicking on one with the overall color theme I was looking for.

I know, ENOUGH of this RT crap!-
(Okay, guys, seriously... Give me a break will ya! So what if I still love Robotech that doesn't mean it's greater than everything, I have varieties of interests (mech or non-mech). Jeez!
) (I wouldn't risk of listing them in this thread or else we'll be off-topic)

So we can start giving you crap because you have 43 desktop icons?
I might actually have a couple of Macross desktop backgrounds myself, it isn't like I would (or am in a position to) fault anyone for the subject of their desktop backgrounds. If I were to comment on your desktop background choices negatively, it would probably be along the lines of "horrible clashing shapes and colors/poor overall presentation/lack of focus/make up your mind/fix the lighting already!, etc". I wouldn't use your wallpapers not because they are robotech, but simply because they are ugly.
It doesn't help in the least bit that I am very picky about my desktop backgrounds, on occasion I've spent over an hour searching for the right ones.

I just discovered Ratchet and Clank and so it's my latest craze. After switching back to XP from Win7 I hadn't put in a custom wallpaper until I got the ones from the
R&C official site.

I actually have rotating desktops set up (Windows 7), which kind of makes it hard to screenshot them. Still only using the stock ones, but some of the landscapes they have in there are
really awesome.
Eventually I'll get tired of them and switch to something else, I suppose.
Anyway, I suppose I can show one of the 20 or so...

Zan - Awesome!
R&K rocks. I still have a bunch of those old commercials.
Sirius - Whoa. It looks like they called out for art design this time around. Office 07 runs a similar thread in the artsy-farsty dept.
Bubba - Ghost in a Shell? That's a really nice FanArt. Could you send a copy of that my way please?
Oct - Dude, that's just ... well ... let me just say there are easier ways of getting a glass of warm milk.

I think the Blood Asp is a Star Adder mech, in fact. Didn't think the Feddies had any though... it's a little far afield.

Xubuntu 9.04 Base-Line Install System using xfwm4, style \"Xfce\", Linux Kernel 2.6.30, X.Org latest stable. I've experimented with Ubuntu several times before over the last few years, and after messing with them and not liking many things about the GNOME apps, decided to try Xubuntu, and found XFCE functional and pretty enough for my liking. Using Window Tweaks, it runs alright in spite of this 2002-and-older computer being archaic / hardware parts dying off. Though, I'd continue to use it even if I were to magically acquire a brand new $2,000 desktop or notebook tomorrow.
/am looking into Arch Linux now since that's reputably \"bleeding edge\"...

EDIT: I forgot what Sirius wrote something before I post about the fact of the Blood Asp AND Clan Star Adder.
EDIT2: seriously, Bagheera, go to the Battletech Wiki (sarna.net) and other Battletech archives or source sites for BT research (just an option)
