Windows on a Mac?

Post by Tricord »

How good is it? Since Mac uses Intel processors you can run Windows on it. That might just be the ticket for me, I love the looks of a Mac but I hate the OS. In fact, my idea would be to buy a Mac laptop and ghost my current Win2000 install to it, but I'm very afraid of missing or incompatible device drivers.

Thoughts? Anybody with hands-on experience running XP on a Mac?

Sad that you don't like the OS. I hope it is Linux that you like and not Windows.

But from what I have heard is that when you install the drives that your burn on a CD from Bootcamp program, everything works.

Laast I heard there was mostly a lack of drivers, and Audio drivers would cause a BSOD on a mac due to incompatability. Me, Id recomend buying a White VooDooPC, looks as good as a mac, performs better then a mac, costs about the same lol.

I do agree with Tricord tho, I hate the macOS as well, proprietary sons of dogs, cant upgrade crap in them.
