Overdrive

Post by Cyclone »

Hey, check this out! It's a 3 minute CG car race. Some of the best camera motion I have seen in 3D.

Pretty cool. But I don't like how the camera angles change so fast. They change TOO fast. Can be disorientating and hard to follow.
Why doesn't it work?

you need faster eyes. ;)

really though, it's not much different than following the action Descent 3 when things get crazy.

Sorry, but I'm just not a fan of films where the camera is constantly switching to attempt to enhance action. Whether it's changing angles or shaking uncontrollably, it is really annoying and makes me wonder why they just don't make it audio only.
Why doesn't it work?

I agree with Xamindar... if you need to constantly flit the camera around, it might be a flaw in your action...
