It seems to do this periodically. We're not sure what causes it, but Thunderbird said it's not really controllable by us, as it's a problem with the ASP server.

I read something about that a while back. I will see if I can find the article again.

Is there a way I can get access to my PD account again? Whenever I try to login, I get to an empty directory with the file \"You are at the FTP Root - Please CD to your site directory\" and then no directories are available.

HTTP 500 sometimes means an ASP script error, but I haven't touched the ASP scripts on the site for some time now. The other kind of server errors usually fix themselves semi-quickly.
