pyro-ix

working on a non-cannon pyro model in max 8. shes about 90% done. gotta clean up some ugly polies and uv. il convert it for use in freespace and release it in a variety of other formats for anyone needing a pyro for whatever.

Slick, can't wait to see it textured.

I would say the lasers are too close together though. OR, just too close to the ship. Yea, too close to teh ship. Not by much tho', about 1 laser-width, I'd say.

max 8 was used for this to. I tried to make it look like a sports car.

I do like the ix BTW, as for your ship Issac, it looks like an attempt to get a Pyro to be as fast as a Phoenix.

It also has 2 dvd players and an xbox 360 in the dash :p

all the pyro ix has in the dash is a stupid ipod dock :D

that stated, i think il model the interior as well.

Any progress on that model, nuke?

And for Issac, what format is that model in? I like it, and would like to put it in my Descent mod for Freespace.

for the one i made, i had it in mind FOR a game. There are only 2 objects and they have no holes. :) The poly count can still be adjusted. So i think i it could work.

I'd like to point out that on the original Pyro, the fins in the intakes (on the sides under the cockpit) slant FORWARD rather than backwards.
