Mr. Deity

Post by Genghis »

I'd have posted this in the Cafe because it's for fun, but there's a good chance it'll end up in here eventually:

I like them all except episode 3: \"Mr. Deity and the Light,\" which I found unclever and boring.

Gets an eh from me. I didn't find it funny or overly offensive, so I guess it failed on both counts here. I don't think it hits quite close enough to home to be really funny. (It's a little too far fetched)

Well I thought it was fairly funny. First one was probably the best, but 2&4 were pretty good too.

It's cutting anti-christian religious commentary. Just like humour; it hurts because it's true.

Did you read what I said? It didn't work b/c it was close enough to true.

Didn't find it funny nor offensive.

Dogma is much better.
