Click me (Sheep on the left, Muff in the middle, and myself on the right. Link is NOT 56k friendly, straight from the camera!)

I had the pleasure of meeting SuperSheep and Muffalicious in person tonight, and all I'm going to say is....for those of you that have talked to them either on here or on teamspeak....you're in for a shock when you see them in person. :D These two are an absolute HOOT! :P That was by far the best three hours I've ever spent in that restaurant. :)

(And no, I'm not photochopping them. :D)

It's great meeting people from the D community in person. I've met a few and it rocks.

Awww, thanks MD. It was a blast hangin' with ya Sunday night.

For those of you wondering, this was at Logans near Memphis Tennessee. We went to see Graceland and to hang out with MD for a bit. Definately would do it again.

I'd love to meet most of the folks here, especially those I often play online.

Well then start another lan, peeps. If some of y'all wanna be meeting pilots that you flew with so many times in the mines... lan's a perfect way to meet up! :P

Problem with LANs is that if they are not scheduled about 1 year before and in a central location, you only get people who live within driving distance of it.

I visited a friend I met on Kali last year and it cost me about $800. And I didn't LAN at all. Just spend the week with him. I'd love to have a LAN and meet people but at that cost, it gets pricey fast. And if it's to far, I can't drive and bring my PC. (Sorry, no PC on da plane.)

No need for a 'national' lan, just have one for the people in the surrounding area for the weekend.

Kiran: that would be more like $500~$600 US at that time. Still pretty expensive.
