The Jon Show - Descent Feature

Post by Trackball »

The Jon Show is an online miniseries about LAN gaming in Durham, North Carolina. The first episode introduces the unorthodox aspects of the parties and attempts to give outsiders a feel for what its really like. A good portion of this episode deals with our two trademark games - Descent and Kohan: Ahriman's Gift. The first episode was over a year in the making. \"Durham Nights\" was crafted from almost 20+ tapes and manages a 27 minute running time. The show combines interviews, game footage, and cinéma vérité to portray the exceptional gaming in Bull City.

It took me about three months to edit. I hope you enjoy it. :D

I really loved the Waltn Matilda footage at the start of the D3 section ... just looks like total chaos with everybody using all degrees of movement.

Good work also for the whole thing. Has a nice documentary feel to it.

edit: was also a cool trip down memory lane: the original UT, Quake 3, etc...

2006/12/02: GP2X promo video
I'm still porting DXX-Rebirth to the GP2X. D1X-Rebirth is nearly finished and D2X-Rebirth is in the works now.
1nf1n1ty - one of the D1X-Rebirth BETA testers of the GP2X version - created a stunning promo video for all the fans of Descent and the GP2X.
Check it out here!

Now DESCENT for PSP!? WTF!? 0.o I alway keep check my favorite games out from GameSpot! But Those no download for PSP. I know PSP can get classic games from the internet. Or Wi-Fi? But the screen is too small than PC's monitor, I like to play any FPS game for PC. And I have black DS...
