The NYC peeps asked me to see if anyone near them would be interested in a LAN sometime around June or july.
There is 5 or 6 peeps already wanting to do this already.

I'm tentatively interested, depending on where in the NY area we're talking about. I can crash on Long Island for a couple of days (I was actually thinking about visiting anyway).

Spoke w/another pilot here in NYC, AriesRex, a Descent gamer way back to '96 & on-line regular in the late 90's & early 2000's. Sez he's interested, too.

Ok, I have assertained that this is still a hopefull event. I'm trying to get someone who will actually be involved in the planning to come take over the announcements and details as there is no chance I can make it to an east coast lan anytime during summer months.

Also you can talk to Candy in chat, he is looking for help with the event. he is willing to make this work but has no experience with Lans.
He is looking for any help that he can get.

There are at least 20 people that i have counted expressing intrest, sounds like this could be a sweet Lan!

ok Crossbones is actively searching for a venue now.

As I posted earlier, I am trying to get someone else to take over these updates.

Hopefully, someone will be here soon to update y'all.

They have a venue!!! looking for good dates towords the end of July.
