From what I recall, before they came up with Lara Croft, the original idea for Tomb Raider had the main character as an Indiana-Jones-type guy.

Anyway, the new Indy movie looks cheesy as usual, but will probably be pretty entertaining!

Only thing I'm not crazy about is how much CGI is going to be in this movie. Hopefully they don't kill it with the way over the top stuff...my guess...it will be loaded with the garbage effects.

Looks okay. Not exactly mindblowing, but then perhaps it's good to see Spielberg and Lucas using a bit of restraint for once. XD

I do like the idea of an older, wizened Indiana Jones, as portrayed by Ford. Between this, and the fact that it takes place in the late 1950s, there's room for a lot of humor and character development.

i've always loved IndyJones flicks, grew up on em.

But i'm scared this new one will be like one of those CGI-in-your-face stereogram 3D flicks you see at an amusement park - being a lazy director and using too much CGI like someone said earlier.
it better not be. The IndyJones franchise is near flawless - i dont want them ★■◆●ing it up.

Apparently George Lucas is one of the producers ...not necessarily a good sign.
