What about the countless of thousands if not millions that are killed every day because of drunk drivers, senseless murders? Do we stop and think about them daily? No. 9/11 was a tragedy but it's been 7 years and we've moved on. Everyone still thinks about it but why harp over it?

It's not harping it's simply remembrance and mourning. This tragedy will simply NOT be forgotten. I say we all become lax and let more jihadists into our great country.

Get over yourself bubba. More people have died from far worse tragedies. Just because we don't publicize it on the DBB doens't mean we aren't remembering. If you feel so strongly about it, then stop [posting here and go to Ground Zero and hold a vigil.

I understand, it seems callous that people aren't actively talking about it here; especially when it's clear from the beautiful memorial banner you designed for .com that it's heavy on your mind and heart.

Don't take it as apathy or callousness, though. It may just be that for the people here who have the most to say about it, it's too painful a subject to dredge up. Or maybe they don't want 9/11 remembered with yet another lengthy debate that seems to follow any posts about it.

I know that for me, the Oklahoma City bombing was a personally close one. I lived just a few miles north of the Murrah building, felt the blast, and knew a number of people who lost loved ones. It's been 13 years, but I still haven't been able to make it all the way through the memorial site. Every April 19th I distinctly and purposefully remember that day, even if I don't discuss it on the forums.

I hope you can understand, and forgive anyone here who seems like they don't care.

How dare you use such a tragic event to invoke hate on a fricken' Internet BB. Have some respect for those that passed and like another poster mentioned, if you feel so strongly get off the Internet and go to ground zero and light a candle.

You and I probably should not meet up in real life as I have lost total respect for you and your insane postings, in game attitudes, and finally this.
