Usually I hold them in quite a bit of contempt, but sometimes (see above) they can be pretty good.

Oh, thanks for pointing that out. Even though, I haven't seen Appleseed yet (but I've heard of it).

I never saw the recent CGI Appleseed movies, but I did see the original one from the 1980s. Even though it has a very strange dub (jazz music during climactic battles?), the story was simple and satisfying. Appleseed was created by the same person behind Ghost in the Shell.

Interesting, and a \"VPNSFW\" would've been nice.... last thing I need is to be booted off the school's computers...

Oops, sorry. What does the "VP" mean in your acronym?

Although I gotta wonder what one expects to see in a cosplay thread. I mean, its not like a big part of anime isn't overly sexualized representations of scantily clad women. :)
