So which of the 3 you choose will suck the most?

I'd pick Dragonball (even though I don't care much for any Dragon Ball series)

EDIT: Crap, I should've added an option for all 3.

Yeah, uh. I can't honestly say I think any of them will be watchable.

Well, just for fun, I call these sucky movies, the Trinity of Sucky Movies of '09.

Coin toss between Dragonball and G.I.Joe ... coin said I should vote for Joe as the one that will suck the most.

Yeah, an all-three vote would have been good ... but then the voting outcome would be too predictable.

Since I'm a big Alan Silvestri fan I hope the G.I. Joe movie will be as fun to watch as the other movies he's been a part of. Sometimes his music is better than the movies they go to.

Dragon Ball fans are already griping about the new movie's cast, and it's not even out yet.

And I'm confused about \"the street fighter movie\" selection. \"The Street Fighter\" staring Sonny Chiba is one of my favorite kung fu action movies. If he was making another, I would be very happy. But if it's another game adaptation then it will win my vote.

Undecided will be terrible.

edit:
Kung Pow 2: Tongue of Fury will be out in 2010. It will win every award there is to win on earth. All hail Steve Oedekerk.

Some may argue Astroboy should also be there - but my vote is for Dragonball. GI Joe may well suck, but given the merchandising revenues at stake here, there will be a lot of pressure to get it right.

What, no Transformers 2?

I didn't watch transformers when I was a kid, so I don't have the nostalgic mindset when watching the last movie. So, I thought it was really good and I think Transformers 2, if it's like the first one, has the potential of being great if not better.

The musical score in Transformers was amazing too; but I'm partial to Jablonsky! :D

Dragon Ball all the way. As i liked the DB anime, i think it's pretty obvious (there's no fan of DB that liked the first movie, and so the second one is not an exception)

Star Trek 2009 looks like it might be cheesy (although star trek was never exactly /not/ cheesy to begin with.)

It also threatens to be as annoying as \"Lost\" or \"Heroes\" was in trying to be edgy and new but only succeeding in making people motion sick in flashbacks and goofy camera angles.

Dragonball will probably take the ★■◆●.

The others will likely be horrible too, but at least they're not franchised anime movies. They have a small chance of being good.

I beg to differ on the GI Joe count. Thanks to the nature of the franchise, its plot, and the pointlessness of trying to \"mainstream\" it, it may yet fall into the \"so bad it's good\" category though.

I caught the girl in Transformers in Maxim after I saw the movie. She's something close to the hottest girl alive. Needless to say I have no idea what the movie was about?

Not looking forward to see any of them, or most movies put out by Hollywood for that matter.

In my opinion, Dragonball sucks. Because there are too much stories and bored. When I was a kid, I've watch that Japan cartoon for a few times then I quit. I don't watch it anymore.

I think the problem with Dragonball (Z) is that you can't really understand what the heck it's about unless you've seen every episode, or at least, the first episode.

Also most people graduated from Street Fighter like a decade ago =P

I don't think he means the Street Fighter starring anyone named Sonny Chiba... I think he means the one based on the video game.

Dragonballs always blah blah blah and fight and blah again. It bugged me out.

The CGI Astro Boy movie actually looks fairly decent, from the small amount of teaser material that's been released. The fact that they duplicated the underground-digging sequence from the original show's opening credits seems like a good sign. :)

Even as a reasonably big anime fan, I loathe any and all things associated with Dragonball Z (in fact, it negatively colored my perception of what "anime" was for a good few years), so I almost want to see the movie flop. At least the original Dragon Ball was fairly watchable.
