Go Astronomy!!!

Post by akula65 »

I knew 2009 was the International Year of Astronomy, but I didn't realize they had a special event for it (2-5 April):

Unfortunately, the nearest event for me is 1.5 hours away. I may have to rattle some cages at the local university.

That sounds almost as exciting as a NOVA marathon...

There are lots of events going on around the world. My museum runs periodic events:

Unfortunately I missed the really cool one... but there should be plenty more coming up.

There's a NOVA marathon!? I figured they'd announce that kind thing in their newsletter...

HULU has a bunch of NOVA episodes. Last I checked they even had the big great robot race.
