"OMG NOOB" posts coming in 3... 2... 1...

(The Onion has been a popular satire newspaper/website for at least 15 years. I remember reading the paper version back in college.)

If you look up their video on a recent Sony release, Duper, I think it will become even more self-evident.

(Might not want to do so at work, though.)

Like I said, I've Never even HEARD of this site before. I kinda figured it was satire when the gal said something about "dicking around". But really, I wouldn't put it past Apple to do something that stupid. Over engineering a product is totally possible when you think you're the absolute best.

I've seen THAT more than once over the years. I see that as the "new" way of texting on the iPhone though. :P

I saw this awhile back. Very funny.

The university I work for is converting a chunk of its faculty and all incoming freshmen to MacBooks. I was the sole lucky IT tech that was chosen to get Apple Care certified.

What, no more Sheetz?

I'd just assign a random keyboard shortcut to run "rm -rf ~/" on every machine you bring in. Make it different for each user.

I already have my script written:

sudo rm -rf /

:P

And yes 11 years with Sheetz and it is no more, I work in IT with a local university now. :)

Problem is, J, yours is dummyproof (root password required), while the first isn't.
