New to Multiplayer!!!

Hello! I'm new to Descent... yes I know, about 10 years to late huh? Well anyways, I was wondering if there was an active multilayer community on board, and if so, how do I connect to your servers!!!(heat.net is down and so is parallax). Please help me out? Nice meeting yall!

www.slyclan.net from there (vortex itself not the web site) you can download misions, get into IRC chat, join games, etc.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
I downloaded vortex and such... the descent IRC channel is a strange one... wasn't greeted very kindly unfortunately, but I'm glad you guys did :]!
