HERE's a cool lightbulb I read about back in 95. Too bad this never really went anywhere.

There's also an awesome article about the Titanic in that one further down. a MUST read.

It sounds pretty cool but I guess some other technology did the same job but cheaper.

the bit of looking I did just now seems that it kinda vanished. No reason why. It's low cost and full spectrum.

This was actually a springboard tech from another discovery earlier. Haven't been able to find the article about that.

think about it.
when you want to show someone some cool thing you just saw, we tend to send a link. You can't send links to things in popular science, so they probably lost a lot of readership to blogs and other sources that are linkable.

But now people can link to things from popular science mag, just like a website.
