Look at the other game related posts on this site. Can't you too write a 15 page review? :P

English please. :?

Yeah I saw the other videos. Looks like a fun little game to mess around in and waste some time. But I can't see anyone in their right mind paying to play this thing. There are so many free games out there that are thousands of times more interesting.

I play a bit of PokerTH online on Ubuntu. I think poker, in general, is a fun game and might be one of the best. The thing I don't get about PokerTH is that it has a lan option, like, for a lan party.... uh... So you can gather around a table... and play poker? How innovative. :P

Tetris, or it's open-source spin-offs, is on every single device I carry and I have to play it at least once a day; it's the best game ever made.

Shores of Hazeron is Minecraft + Space.... IF you can get it running.

(Sorry to 1up SoH, but it is now at my #4 spot for my favorite games (1=Descent 3, 2=Descent 2, 3=Descent 1, 4=Hazeron)) :P

I've played something like that, believe it or not. It was a flash game with physics using simple shapes. I'm trying to remember more about it...

Nice burn dude, if I wasn't lazy I'd change the title to "best game of the 2000s".

Okay, sometime I will write a review on it, with some screenies!

(I paid the €10 to get the game, and I must say it truly is worth it, and the game isn't even near done yet)

I guess people DO pay for a game like this, even when it is in alpha.

There have been a few attempts to make an "evil tetris" game, which picks the worst possible piece for you at any given time. The best versions I've seen, even at super-low speeds, you end up losing with about 15 lines eliminated.

In case you all didn't see it, here is a much older version, without the monsters or crafting. You can see in it that you can literally destroy/build anything you want :)

Also in case you haven't heard, PayPal is holding over 600,000 euros in the guy's account. They're letting people put money into it (ie, buy the game) but not letting the guy access the cash.

Feel free to give PayPal crap about it.

Also, Dwarf Fortress is probably better. Doesn't have the 3d graphics though.

Yeah. Difficult to learn (and even understand what you're looking at, perhaps), but it's one of the few games to feature emergent gameplay which is worth calling it such.

Interestingly enough, a significant group of Dwarf Fortress players have been getting very interested in Shores of Hazeron. The complexity and massive scale of SoH seems to suit them very well, and they have quickly moved up the rankings.
