Teamspeak Server Upgrade

Ok, now that the DBB upgrade is 'mostly' done how about I upgrade the Teamspeak server as well to TS3? I'll upgrade it over the weekend of the 19th if we like this idea, time permitting.

You might want to give it some time, and announce it to the folks who regularly use it.

The reason: TS2 & TS3 aren't compatible, and I've seen an unannounced upgrade lose some users.

True but the nice thing about them is they can both run side-by-side on the same server. They don't use the same user DB but there are ways of pointing them to the new server.

How many people actually use the TS server?

I might have to get TS3 going and log on sometime.

Well, we were able to get the new Teamspeak server installed and lightly integrated (don’t ask what ‘lightly’ means) to the DBB early so it's up and running now. The old Teamspeak server, version 2, will continue to run for a while side-by-side with the new version so people have time to make the move.
