This is the E&C, you're doing it wrong.
1 Peter 4 wrote:17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18 Now

“If the righteous one is scarcely saved,
Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”b

that doesn't answer the question. It just says OBEY, avoid "sinning" and "ungodly"ness - whatever those subjective terms mean.

And honestly, who is this Peter fellow to know the mind of God anyway?

Well, Roid, I know at one time you were a devout christian. What made you change your mind?

hmm... off the top of my head:
- the lack of love in the church (elitism, us vs them, and homophobia).
- the practice of shunning, ignoring of criticism, and the existence of forbidden knowledge.

In the end it was increasingly cramping my ability to learn and expand my mind. I found i was hiding my rapidly expanding interests & studies more and more from my family and friends.

Religion is the shackles that bind you. Christ is the Key that frees you

I'm not a Muslim expert, but can't you do ANYTHING in that religion, as long as it's in the name of Allah?

...

So, daredevils aren't sinners by default, then, right?

My faith was refined by fire, i wouldn't say there's nothing left, but i have other words for it. However Christ didn't survive the process and nor did his premise.
Indeed, when i peeled back the layers of lies and fear, there was nothing terrible left for Christ to even save me from. He was unneeded. I'm just too positive :)

I do not believe that God is going to kill everyone on the planet.
I do not believe that evil spirits exist, to torment or deceive me, you, the world, anyone.
I do not believe in an afterlife of eternal bliss nor torment.
I do not believe in jinxes like in 1 Thessalonians 5:3

What's left for me to worry about? What would a saviour even do for me?

HUH?? what are you referring to?

"the process" refers to "the refining of my faith".
By "Christ" i mean Christ the concept/belief (i didn't literally kill a person with the title of Christ, haha).
By the "premise", i mean the premise that Christ is even needed at all.

haha, I was exactly the same. I remember being puzzled about this in religion lessons in school. I still don't understand what I could be saved from.
