that car is really inspirational. only took 6 years from drawing to finish. a designed original engine too.

it makes everyone put down their beer, sit back and ponder.. maybe i could do that hey?

does anyone else think it's funny how this thing has been designed to maximize downforce, yet it has NO REAR SPOILER. heeheeheehee.

Looks very nice indeed (nice color, reminds me of the Jaguar X-type estate blue).

However, if this car makes 0-100 in 3.7 seconds, they will have a hard time getting it close to three seconds flat, as they are claiming. Thing is, it takes a lot more power for a car to gain a 10th of a second in the 3sec range, than it takes in the, say, 10sec range. They'll need more than 40kg off in order to make it.

This said, supercars aren't really my thing. Only super engines :)

That is a truly sweet car :D. The real question is, "How many people would I be willing to kill to get one?" :P

Nice, but how *different* is it?

Nice looking ride. *Looks* a lot like a certain model of Ferrari.

I note is uses a lot of "ground effects" which Formula One cars are banned from using. Why would the Formula One cars be banned from using "ground effects" if it helps?

There are countless aids to making cars faster or safer which are banned in formula 1. Ground effects, wide tyres, 4 wheel drive, antilock brakes etc.

Ground effects were originally banned because they allowed cornering forces which were so severe that drivers were not able to withstand the forces too well. Plus, when you are cornering with 4Gs on board and somehting breaks, you progress directly to the scene of the burial. :P

Limited amounts of ground effects are employed by many road cars today. The Enzo is probably the most famous recent case.
