Here's a good example of a knee jerk racially motivated response by cops if anyone thinks blacks aren't being targeted and that they don't deserve to be angry over it. These 2 boys were fighting in a mall. It looked like the white kid had the upper hand and was looming over the black kid on the ground striking him when the cops showed up. Watch who they pin to the ground, knee in the back and arrest right from the start, the poor black kid. Meanwhile, it's the white kid who's pretty much ignored and sits on a couch. From what I saw, he was doing most of the punching from the get go.

Why are the people running ads on the news disappointed when their ads run on the news? They probably aren't disappointed. That ad got more eyeballs during war coverage than it ever would have after a bunch of talking heads discussing how Liz Cheney is a great person. CNN's cousin HBO (both WarnerMedia) then gives it more eyeballs.

Is that too cynical?

My guess is fake or insincere disappointment as a way to maximize and extend the effect of advertizing. This is also a cynical view.
