there seems to be a rather limited status quo. Basically, an overstrident onslaught drove TB and Woody into hiding. Other right-wing types headed to the exits a while back. You end up with an echo chamber effect.......not exactly rousing in any sense.

I miss the people who would actually discuss things, like Will Robinson and Lothar.

I don't miss any of that kid's nonsense. I think the peace and quiet is nice. And the lack of radical, bat-★■◆● crazy, and racist posts does not make this forum an "echo chamber" by any stretch of the imagination. Good riddance to all of them.

The forum is better off dead than every other topic being some form of hate speech.

And Foil, Kilarin, Snoopy, Dracona... (list not intended to exclude anyone but probably missed a lot).

It's more difficult to be the right-wing type when it's a Republican in office because it puts you on constant defense. It's especially more difficult when it is someone who is not easy to defend like Trump, especially when you are normally the kind of right-wing type who feels the need to defend every single thing that a sitting Republican president says or does. (Note that the same thing generally goes for left-wing types and Democrats in office except for Trump being especially difficult case for right-wing types.)
