I remember somewhere (think it was the demo version of that level) mentioned it was in Beta Ceti and apparently one of the same planets you go to in the Vertigo Series.
But if it really is just from the demo, I don't know how canonical that would be.

At the beginning of the level it says
Tiris - PTMC Piccu Station Facility
& SRAD Beta Ceti Laboratory
at the bottom of the screen (during the cinematic where the camera orbits the ship)
So I think Alter-Fox is right, Tiris is a celestial body in the Beta Ceti System
