I've just finished building level 21 of The Countdown, it took me 3 months. Even though my first level (Brimstone research lab RL1096) took me a just a week.
What is the longest time it took to build a level for everyone else? Just curious.
I bet you are all expecting good things from level 21 now :P

D2 lvl 15 took me about 30 hours because I couldn't figure out a way to defeat the Ice Boss. I eventually opted for sitting in the doorway that leads to the exit and sniping him. Super frustrating, and I still have to do that most times.

Lucky there's cloak close by before entering the Ice Boss domain. Two secret doors at the top of the red arrows has a few shield orbs and a cloak.

The level 7 boss in Descent 1 took me a long time to beat at first.

To build a level, that would be Anthology without a doubt - looking at the timestamps of the various work-in-progress files, it seems to have taken a little over two years.

Hard to say for a specific level, but I've got a small pack I've been working on for Overload almost since that game came out -- partly because I kept interrupting it to build other levels for the two community DLCs and JosheM's challenges, and partly because my free time situation isn't really what it used to be and conceptualizing + building out spaces for the sort of setpiece-based design I'm going for takes a fair amount of energy.

I'm well-over halfway through now though :) Not giving up on this one.

Probably months, considering I had to learn the entire editor while doing it. It was fun though

On the other hand, the level that took the shortest time to build was my first one, Brimstone research lab RL1096, with almost a week.
