Reading my American Legion Magazine I came across this: In the past 5 years Russia has lost more than 50,000 scientific researchers. In 1991 there were 992,000 scientist, today 340,200. No wonder Putin wants to buddy up to the Chinese.

We're losing scientists to China too. Thank you Trump and your "China Initiative ". Yep, Trump again.

And once again, you just can't seem to see what a disaster Trump was for our country. The anti-China sentiment was mostly brought on by the Covid pandemic and right wing propaganda, but Trump stoked the fire and made it worse. Now WE are losing bright scientists back to China just like Russia, people who probably would've stayed here since many of them dislike the Communist government. Whether or not you believe the Wuhan Lab Covid theory, the results of that pushback, mostly by people in your party, have had negative implications for our own country. You guys can't have your cake and eat it too.

No most of the problem was the extreme trade deficit we had with China. You prefer to think it was COVID because your the leftist news sources you read prefer you to think that way.
