Only port 2092 in Kali ???

I use the last Kali version.
When i try to join a game from Kali it always goes to the ip with port 2092.
Why ?
I also would like to join games on other ports.
Any clue ?

that's the port the kali protocol uses.

It seems when I join a Descent 3 game from kali, kali doesn't remember the port number the server uses and also doesn't get the right IP address. For example, I'll join a game on 24.112.65.12:2093 but once D3 is running, it won't connect to that IP or if it does get the IP right, it doesn't get the port number.

Does it work? To test, create a file called custom.kgi in the Kali directory and put the lines above into that file. After running the game, check the file "CommandLine.txt" in the Kali directory to make sure it used that new template. Does it work?

Just adding -useport to the command line fixed the Kali problem.
