Multiplayer D2?

Hi guys, im running D2X-W32, just wondering how you guys play multiplayer nowadays.. Kali? i cant get to the website for some reason, are they dead like kahn? i just wanna play some multiplayer d2..

Kali is alive and well. Past 3 days it's been down. But with D2x-w32 you can play TCP games.

i dont see a choice for TCP games, and when i do find it, will there just be a list of games to chose from?

When you click "muliplayer menu" from D2X-W32, there should be 6 options.

If not, d/l the latest D2X-w32

It's not TCP but UDP/IP games.

Is there an active games list server? How does this work with D2x?

There is a tracker running in Germany. If a player starts a Game host using UDP/IP via tracker, other players starting a client using UDP/IP via tracker can see the game host in D2's built-in server browser and can select it to play on. It's just that you need somebody to offer a server (there are no dedicated D2 servers).

Dedicated servers are something I'd like to see in that far-off promise called "Ultimate Descent" that no-one really has the time or energy to work on...

But for now D2X-W32 is pretty much all I need, considering people barely use all the extra stuff it gives them.
