havn't left my country (australia) as yet (i'm only 24 with medical difficulties, gimme a break).
but i plan on living elsewhere.

i do live approx 2250miles (3620km) from my birthplace though - the same distance Flabby lives from his birthplace.

3.75% of australians live overseas. That's a big percentage for a waterlocked country i recon.
but we still call australia home *holds hand to heart... fake tear* :P

Born: Berlin Germany
Visited various Countries as an infant, including England, Ireland, Italy, France, Spain, Canada etc.

Haven't left the Bounds of the Continental USA since.

To be fair, I've covered at least as much geographical distance as anyone who has travelled western Europe. I've visited (and lived in many of) the following states:

Arizona
California (Southern AND Northern)
Colorado
Connecticut
Delaware
Detroit
District of Columbia
Florida (Current Residence)
Georgia
Illinois
Louisiana (N.O. only, really)
Maine
Maryland
Massachusetts
N. Carolina
Nevada
New Hampshire
New Jersey
New Mexico
New York (Both NYC area and Upstate NY)
Pennsylvania
Rhode Island
S. Carolina
Vermont
Virginia
W. Virginia

That's a lot of territory I've covered without leaving the USA, and believe me, the cultural differences are every bit as drastic as anything you'll find in Europe. Example: A New Yorker who goes to California (or Charlotte for that matter)... Talk about diametric opposites.

I'd agree with that.

Apart from Astapalia. A small island. I got good memories from that place, and intend to go back and repay certain kindnesses that were bestowed upon me by the natives.

Apart from that you can keep Greece.

Freaky states notwithstanding, I'm not all that well-traveled, only having been to England, Wales and Scotland.

I'm not even that well-traveled in the US. I've lived in CA and TX, and have visited NV, AZ, NM, FL, VA, MD and DC. Been to Rainbow Arch in UT, but I don't really count that.

I have seen a great deal: all over Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. The only continent I haven't stepped foot on is Antarctica.

I have been at the controls of an aircraft over and also dropped my feet in (not at the same time mind you :P) the Pacific, Atlantic, and Indian oceans. I also got to drive a submarine in the Pacific and the Arctic. That whole join the Navy and see the world is a no $hitter if you want it to be.

I have also set foot in every state of the USA, including Alaska (several times). I have lived all over the country, in all 4 corners and through the center. Not only have I been with the Navy for 19 years, but I was an Army brat as well.

Country I would like to visit but never have....Russia.

Country I have visited and wish I could take it back....Iraq.

Country not my own that I have been to and wouldn't mind living there....None. Although if I had to live outside the US, England was pretty cool.

Uno. I've never left my own time zone; in fact, I've never so much as set foot on a plane. :P I've at least set foot in New York (nowhere outside the city), New Jersey (my family goes to the shore for a week every year), Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina (visited the Outer Banks several years ago), not to mention Washington, D.C. I'm currently at college in Delaware, and I'm a proud resident of the fair Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. :) I don't really have much of a desire at all to travel; it's not that I don't like other countries, I'm just a huge homebody. I wouldn't mind visiting the West Coast at some point, and I'd like to see Britain sometime. After watching the LOTR movies, I'd like to visit New Zealand, if for nothing else than the scenery. And I've always had a strange desire to visit Antarctica. :P
