I'd be interested in your best way to be frugal. Mine is when I use paper towels aby the roll I seperate the two-ply sheet so I get double the use out of a roll.
So lets see who here is cheaper than I.

All joking aside, I won't fill up my tank until the needle is below empty... I eat ramen noodles at least one meal a day... I buy 24 rolls of toilet paper for 5 bucks from the PX.

Now, all this good savings goes in to a bottle of Patron Anejo on the weekends. Es bueno :)

I don't buy mayonnaise anymore, I just grab a few packets from the Wawa (it's like Quickie-Mart, but modern, etc) every day.

They're perfect, actually. Each packet does 1 sandwich, and no need to use a utensil (I'm cheap and lazy)

I don't eat mayonnaise at all. Not because I'm cheap, because it's nasty as hell. :P

Why? Do you get a bulk discount on gas? Where I live we pay the same price per gallon regardless of the quantity purchased. Ergo one fill-up of 10 gallons will cost me the same as 5 fill-ups of 2 gallons each.

Now if you really want to be frugal, buy fuel frequently but never fill the tank. Try to keep it at, say, 1/4 tank. This way you'll avoid hauling around the extra weight of a full tank.*

*I should put a disclaimer on this: I've heard several reasons which I believe to be true why it's best to keep your tank full. Especially in colder climates. So I'm not suggesting you try this, and I'm not liable, blah blah blah.

It's also not particularly good for you. But ... yeah, I guess if it doesn't cause problems, it doesn't cause problems.

I don't think of myself as cheap, but I do spend massively less money than anyone else I know (at university anyway)... bought lunch once in about the last two years, don't even have a computer that knows how to make head or tail of FireWire or a CD burner (my brother has one of those, though, but neither of us has a DVD drive), no portable music devices of any kind, blah blah... I do have a cellphone as of about a month ago but I didn't buy it.

Maybe I am cheap, I dunno. I just don't have a lot of money at present.
