overclocking a P4 Northwood via FSB

Post by AceCombat »

well being that all the sites ive googled for OC'ing a northwood P4, it says it has to be done via the FSB speed. well the box i have a northwood in is a Asus board with the latest BIOS has no options for adjusting the FSB speed?

anyone wanna help shed some light. im dealing with a 2.6 that i want to see if i can push to 3.0 if possible for a friend.

cooling is enough for upto a prescott 3.6 with This MASSCOOL 9T488B1M3G heatsink.

the board is a Asus P4P800-VM exact same board i have, with the newest BIOS flash.
