Eliteish I say. Eve see: www.eve-online.com ?

DL it and give it a 14 day tryout. It lacks a bunch of various features that I think it should have, but it takes the space adventure game to a really high level. The sheer economics and social models that have developed are astounding.

friend of mine here likes it a lot. Looks like too much work for me. Never cared much for that genre anyways. The whole \"dig-built-plan-fight\" never did much for me. The eyecandy is AWESOME though!

Looks interesting. Also, has anyone seen Vendetta Online? It looks promising. I tried it out but can't bring myself to pay monthly for a game.

Its a great game from what I can see, a friend I know has been playing it for about 6 months. I played Starwars Galaxies for about a year, until they botched it, I didnt mind paying a monthly subscription for that. Everyone else (co-workers) play WOW & love paying the subscription. As for me I stick to Guild Wars (no subscription) because my gameplay time shifts drastically. I could be playing 5 days in a row, then not on for 2 weeks, I would feel like i'm wasting my money if I don't play & I pay a subscription.

Fun at first. But it's the same thing over and over and over and over. I got bored, really fast.

Equally, I enjoy the character creation system. Sure, it's only a portfolio image. But it's great to make really unique characters.

Great way to resurrect a 4 year old thread lol. On another note, I've actually been playing Eve Online since this post & I still am.
