Don't even remember when/how I got it though. Then I searched for kali due to some chatter I heard about it. And that was it. I was hooked.
And then I bought a 3d Sidewinder ($60!!) and I was addicted.
Then set up a couple of LAN tournaments near Chicago.
D2 was ok, D3, I barely touched but ...

Well, it was sold to a university now, in Oak Park. The people who run it suck a big hairy one. After the 2nd LAN, they didn't want us back though. the mofos.
Hope there's another one this year. Maybe there'll be some quackers and halflifers as well as the descenters.

I've played both KOTOR and Fable, and lemme tell ya...KOTOR is so much better than Fable. So much more.
I haven't bought KOTOR 2 yet, but I will, and I'll love it just as much as the original, GODDAMMIT!

KOTOR is just plain awesome.

For everyone having problems running Descent 1 under windows xp try downloading this http://bely19.home.comcast.net/files/Descent.rar . This is the d1x version I use with windows xp professional. To make all your joystick features work make sure it is installed under control panel.

you should try using, as well as the other software mentioned here, two programs called Spyware Blaster, and Spyware Guard
both can be found here Spyware Stuff . Both are pretty good and have helped a lot. If you need to find out what stuff is running on your PC and other nifty (or unnifty)stuff ...

I went out and bought the Adobe Digital Video Suite.
it has After Effects, Premiere Pro, Encore, and Audition.
After Effects is an AWESOME post program. Does tons of SFX on text/video/whatever.
Premiere Pro is only the best video editing software out there, IMHO, of course.
Encore is the dvd ...
