now im noticing that descent 2 locks up every time i have an intese moment ie being smathered by homing missles while launching a mega it keeps freezeing oh well

then did install but i get this error

when i double click on install it creates a dos box but then closes it

it looks like i need the d2 hog to get the d2x to work well... i dont think there is anway to get my hog file to my xp

I recently started making maps for descent 1 with Devil, I like the program, but it's be alot easier with level design if I had Desedit any one know where I can get that? It appears its not on the inter net any more.

Now I clicked on an ip address and clicked the exe thing and open. but when i get in descent 3 it says cannot find mn3 line 0 WHATS THAT MEAN??? it cant find the mission file line 0?

hmmm if it says d1.descen.cx does that mean thats a descent 1 server?

if so i guess no one is playing on those servers?

and alot of the servers have so many different .mn3's am i going to have to find those files and down load them separate?

hmmm messing around with the terrain seems to hard when i break the single terrain cell it busts into mini cells argh! ill just make the ractor explode and the player fly to an exit that takes you to a cave problem solved i guess

actually its alot easier i think if i make a pcx in the gimp paint program and then bump map it okay i got it now thx alot!

OH I THINK I GET IT NOW!!!
i make the pcx and use the values of the whites and blacks so i can create terrains using microsoft paint!!!!

thx for that tip but what i really meant was can i raise and lower terrain in d3 edit do i need a patch for it to do so cuz in the help file it says it doesnt support it
