I haven't played in a long time (does that make me an oldbie or a newbie?), but it seems like I remember beating a few people on those lists, and I never thought of myself in the top 20. Especially back in the D3 heyday, when there were so many good pilots.

But one reason a Top xx list is so tough ...

I think there are two different types of posts any of us would make on this thread.

1. The ones we make looking at this from the vantage point of our own homes and talking about some other guy in some other place.

versus

2. The ones we would make if the police came and grabbed *us*, then held *us ...

Well, after about 3 years, I found myself thinking, "I wonder if anybody else misses playing D3 online?". I mean, it's old, but the gameplay is still just great.
