I´ve been playing Descent since i was 5, too. Now i´m 14.

Fraps doesn´t encode the video sequences. It creates files with ~300 MBs (30 secs). It would be a big performance hit to encode the frames during recording or saving.

yeah, D3 singleplayer has only been fun when i played it the first time.

That can´t be right..

I noticed that DLE-XP eats a lot of memory. I watched it with the Taskmanager opened:

For each cube i add it takes about 4 MB of RAM.
For each cube i delete it takes about 4 MB of RAM.
For changing, adding, deleting, etc.. Walls, Textures, etc... the same.

It seems to me there´s some issue ...

I had the some problem, clearing the \"-nocdrom\" switch fixed it.

D2X-XL 1.8.58 crashes when selecting, creating or deleting a player profile. Can´t get into the game

System:
--PIII 800Mhz
--512MB Ram

About midway through the game, you get the opportunity to fly an alien spaceship. Like in most FPS games, WASD gets you around, with mouselook allowing you to aim. Crouch makes you fly downward, jump makes you fly upward. It's not literal ...

I´m 13 now, and i played D1 Shareware with 4 or 5 years I didn´t understand the game well, i only played it xD

Is there any option in DLE-XP to rotate objects? I´ve looked nearly everywhere in the editor, but i couldn´t find such a feature...

I think i´ve found a bug:

In \"texture edit...\" on the \"edit\" button, i can load or modify the texture. But everytime i try it, the leveleditor crashes
