I'm playing Saturn Expedition and can't find the switch for this force field in the orbiting station. Below is a screen shot of the force field

I restarted descent 3 and evertime I got to this position, Piccu Station and SRAD research, I've tried to crack open this door, in the pictures below, but have been unsuccessful. Is there anyone that has cracked open this door and how was it done? :)

The Pyromania 1.5 MOD has the Gauss gun in it.

Maybe if you d/l the MOD, you could export the files needed for what you're wanting to do?

The Gauss gun is the most destructive gun in descent, any version, as it takes about 500 rounds to destroy ...

I'm in level 5 of Mercenary and have placed the virus modules in Delta and Gamma hubs, but the door at the top area stays locked. WHY? Use your objective list to get you through this. You must pick up all the stuff here.

If not, you need to start the energy. Throw those 4 switches. The sequence is in a journal that you should have picked up somewhere.

The four switches are: top left, bottom right, bottom left and top right, then the middle switch. Already done when I asked for help ...

You're in the wrong area. This level is particularly complex. I can't tell you how to get there as I don't really remember.

The "towers" the walk-through is talk about occur in several places. They also can't be just blown up. You have to destroy a switch that is somewhere near by.

In D1 you can save in a secret level all you like. Only in D2 is it not possible, in D3 you can also save in a secret level. If you are playing using D2X-XL, and can't save in a D1 secret level, use D1x instead, it will let you save in a secret level.
