I already said yes but I didn't say, if the game will be good, I will take another three copies.

It's a spare time project of a highly motivated team till now and waiting to get the demo ready.
When this is done they try to get funding. With enough money they will be able to do the rest
of the work together with a whole team of duly paid fulltime working programmers at multiple speed.

For ...

Please remember that a lot of keyboards out there have problems when more than 2-3 keys are pressed simultaneously. Some time ago I tried to habituate trichording - and then suddenly I noticed that I was actually just bichording, because my keyboard was ignoring the third key (no matter which one I ...

Just a thought:

If you want to add Singleplayer later (maybe a year after multiplayer), then I suggest making 2-3 Levels anyway with a very exciting Story and an unexpected preliminary end (e.g. player looses ship and all weapons and has to wait for revenge).

Then it should be said that there ...

So I assume there won't be big news for us before the portal relaunch - am I right?
And this will not happen before next sunday?

You can say \"yes\" and concentrate on your work - that's OK for me...

If I surf the domain now, I'm asked for name and password. It seems as if they extended the validity of their domain. After the shock of the expiring domain I think this is a good sign.
Maybe till next sunday we will see more of the new portal - I'm already really curious.

Anything new about the ...

I'm a little bit confused now...

Will you open a new domain for the launch next sunday or will you keep the old one and the expiration was by mistake?
Or what does it mean?

Please explain...

They wrote in their homepage: \"Opening Sunday, July 8th!\"
I hope they will get ready until then...

By the way, who is \"Vorpal Entertainment\"?
A synonyme to Uplink Studios or a publisher???

I have no problems surfing the site - but think the site could contain more interesting stuff...

As far as I can remember the napalm and the black shark don't take 200 shields.

Maybe about 50-150, but they can be mean too: bs sticking you to the wall while
you see the mega coming or the napalm destroying merciless your shield and
then killing you after moments of hope to survive...
:cry ...

With the new piece of the story you gave us, Psi (the thing with the geodrive) - I wonder if the background story at the homepage of uplinkstudios is actual anymore (syncinite crystal). Maybe the story has changed and no one had altered the homepage...

Maybe... :?

Cool Video!
Keep talking about ...

Even if you don't blow off my socks - I surely will be happy with anything new, psionik.
I'm sure you are working hard to bring us this cool game...

I hope the new codebase will help you avoiding annoying bugs and accelerate the development

Will there finally be a waiting list???
Where will I find it?

Better a good game a few months later, than a buggy one that fails.

If CD will be a great success, then we will play it for many many years, at least if there are no other good 360°games out.
Could be - like the descent-series - a game for a decade!!!

I'm not used to 3dmax & co.
Can I do something with google-sketchup and import it later to your leveleditor? Or is it better to wait for your leveleditor?

@zach: Anything new regarding this?
What's the status of the upgrade kits?

I would welcome a graphics-card which is also capable of Full-HD-Playback and has an HDMI-Port. As the first generation of \"HDready-cards\" was sucking (I heared that), I hope the newer cards will be better. I would be ...

I hope the mines will look like real rock,
not just concrete and metal. :?:

BTW, a unique style would be good textures from
different rocks and stones, nothing artificial -
something I never found until now in a game...

Good to hear that everything is fine and that you
are happy with your ...

@Zach:
Why don't you post these two polls on \"coredecision.highoctane.biz\" too? The forum there could need something new!

I would be happy if there's a bundle consisting of the game and a good grafics-card (at a good price).

@Zach:
Will there be such kits in europe too (without high shipping prices destroying the good cost/performance ratio???

Austria

Yes, but I would probably try the demo before I buy the game. If it's similar to the Descent series (and not to the ego-shooters like CS) - definitely yes!
Same for my brother-in-law, he's not present in these forums...
