Just checked this forum, and I think I've got an idea of what the game is. However, I have a couple of questions I havn't been able to find the answers for:

Is the game complete or under developing?

Is there a demo somewhere?

Does the game borrow any ideas at all from descent (exept for the 6DoF ...

Yeah, I think the D1 robots actually look better, but the D2 ones are more imaginative.

Neither are well planned out. It's fairly obvious that D1 and D2 came before art direction became part of video games. D3 inexplicably made the same mistake; there was a theme going but it wasn't a good one ...

Hmm... I do like level 3 of the original descent, not because of the level itself (the design of that one sucks) but simply because it gives me the strongest nostalgic feeling when I sometimes play good old descent again.

Other than that, I like level 1, 7 and 10 of D1.

I like very hard levels - where you will have to try MANY times over. It really gives you a great feeling of satisfaction after completing it.

Yeah, D2 had some really nice level design. And it's really different compared to D1.

D1: Find blue key, find yellow key, find red key, destroy generator, find exit.

D2: Find Guidebot, find blue key, find the switch which unlocks the forcefield that guards the blue key, find yellow key, KILL THE ...

D2X-XL works fine for me, except for one thing. If I import all the HI-RES-textures from the D2X-XL website, the first level of Descent 2 crashes when I approach and shoot at the iron bars holding the guidebot...
