can anyone tell me what version of OPenGL d3 runs. I found some info on people hacking Angle to run openGL on 3d vision hardware. It seems promising, but is over my head. Here is the links. someday i hope to fly again in 3d on my 65 3d tv.

works with 3d vision- except there is no 3d perspective. the glasses work and the hot keys work- just no 3d separation.

anyone care to test it with iz3d?

i wish that was true. i never had any second GPU utilization. sure it ran- but iz3d is much slower and more buggy on my hardware. the driver is far behind nvidia on features. its a mute point now i sold the dlp link stuff due to the fact that it is far inferior to nvidia 3d.

anyone know if d3 works in eyefinity or NV surround?

man i wish D3 was patched to dx9- it sucks missing out on the stereo goodness.

its a bummer! the hack is not going to work with my hardware (at least i could not figure out how to do it!!) the software was written for side by side 3d format- my DLP uses TI 60 hrz checkerboard 3d. I will play with it more later- to see if i can support other formats- but i dont have much time ...

still no luck with D3...

update: found a opengl wrapper that almost works! the game is missing textures when the wrapper is applied- but it does render perfectly in 3d!

isn't that openGl? 3d vsison requires direct3d for now- maybe the iZ3D's opengl drivers will work. its not on there supported game list- but maybe there is a way. need to do more research on iZ3D's drivers....

interesting! i did not know that. hopefully it will happen. let me know if i can help at all. I not much of a programmer but i do have experience doing QA on software.

I highly recommend 3d gaming- it brings a whole new level of immersion to the gaming experience.

ive been chatting with nvidia engineers about this and they said that 3d vision will work if we patch the game to direct x 9. haha- i dont see that happening!!

update:
1- d3d stuttering issue:

frame cap 0 took care of the stuttering issue using d3d - indoors. there is still some slowdown when rendering a outdoor seen in d3d that is not noticeable in opengl. Any ideas?

2- 3D testing:
i forced the vsinc under the NVIDIA control panel and that did not help ...

yes 3d vision! my screen is a Mitsubishi 65 inch DLP hdtv- i use it for my computer screen. works extremely well- highly recommended.
